JOYING 2GB RAM 32GB ROM Octa Core CPU Android 6.0 Car Stereo Latest Update

　

Note: this update is only workable for Android 6.0 car radio with octa core CPU with 2GB RAM+32GB ROM . Please contact us if you are not clear your head unit system .
 otherwise the head unit will be damaged .

　

Following is the updated files (2018-5-11 ) for Octa Core Processor Android Car Radio with 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM

please noted : This firmware is only available for Joying FYT Android 6.0.1 PX5 Octa Core 2GB+32GB Radio. Pls attention: This firmware is NOT fit for Android 8.0 octa core radios, Not for 8 inch VW head unit with DVD player(JY-VM130P2), also Not for screen resolution 800*480 models. This firmware is mainly for the head unit bought before March 2018.

Following is the video on how to update :

1). Pls download the firmware from your windows system computer and unzip it.
2). Copy the unzipped files into an empty USB FAT32 or empty C10 32GB SD card.
3). Insert the USB into car radio USB port or SD card into unit GPS map slot, then the unit will update automatically.
4). During the update, please do not operate it and just wait it until the screen remind you to move SD card or USB.
5). The item will reboot automatically.

After you update the head unit, please note that below things.
1) Touch calibration again.
2) Remap touch button on the left side of front panel if your car stereo is full touch screen model.
3) Set canbus protocol again like the one as before update if your android car radio is BMW, W, Audi or Opel.
4) If your android car radio is without digital amplifier, please choose No amp; If your android car radio is with digital amplifier, please choose AMP (in).

Before you update the head unit, please backup all important things:
1) Copy maps from car stereo internal storage to SD card.
2) Go to settings-factory- enter password 3368- car model to check canbus protocol and record it.
3) Use a good quality SD card or USB to update it (format the SD card or USB as FAT32)

After you finish the update, you are required to do the below things:
1) Remap touch button on the front panel.
2) Touch calibration.
3) Enter the Car Settings application- go to the lower right tab (the one with the screwdriver) click on it and enter 3368- go to the AMP Enable option and turn it off-Go to the EQ menu (second lower tab from right to left) of the car settings and now have the keyboard pitch option. Note: If your android car radio is with digital amplifier, please choose AMP (in).
4) Go to radio settings, turn on two option: auto sens and RDS. If you hear background noise after searching radio station, please turn off stereo option.
5) If your android car radio is BMW, VW, Audi or Opel, you need to set canbus protocol again like the one as before update.

Note:
1) Fix OBD connection problem, the code of paring OBD is 1234.
2) After you update, you need to connect WiFi to activate carplay function. Only left side USB port has carplay function. if you want to use Android auto, please insatll android auto app from google play store, then connect android Phone via USB cable to left side USB port. Connect Bluetooth, and android auto function can work.
3) Optimize widgets usage.
4) Fix popping problem when you exit single app use.
5)If your car stereo is VW special model, front and parking sensor can work well after this update.

please noted following when you update :
1) please update the MCU files firstly and then update the OS files .
2) The updated files for the head unit with DSP is different with the unit has ASP .
if update the wrong files , the head unit will have no sound .
(you can judge by EQ interface . The previous normal EQ interface is ASP , currently internal DSP with nut chip interface is DSP )

3)For universal head unit update you need to use the left USB on the back of the head unit (the head unit need to be opposite directly to you )
or you can update with sd card .
if your head unit is special unit , you need to connect the USB/CP port to update .

4) please kindly prepare 2 USB drivers or 2 sd card (class 10)
after finish updating the MCU files , the head unit will reboot automatically . after reboot and enter into the home interface please disconnect the
USB driver .MCU updated time will be a little short .
and then connect the USB which with OS files , the OS update will need a little more time .
during the update , please do not disconnect the USB driver . after finishing the update and show the "update successfully "tips then you disconnect
the USB driver .

This update has the below features:
1. Add Z-Link app to run the Android Auto and iPhone Carplay
2. Optimize the System and apps

Kindly Warning:

1). Please download it from your windows computer and unzip it
2). Copy the unzipped files into an empty USB FAT32
3). Insert the USB into your car radio left side USB connector (the side without Wifi and GPS cable), then the unit will update automatically (if the head unit cannot detect the firmware to update, you can enter the car radio Settings - System and click the System Update button)
4). When updating, pls do not operate it and just wait it until the screen remind you to move the USB
5). After you remove the USB drive, the unit will restart automatically. After it reboot you need calibrate the touch screen.

After update succeed then you will find the Z-LINK app in the system menu, for the first time to run Z-Link app, you need connect the unit with internet.
Then when you enter the Z-Link app, it will remind you to fill in the Activation Code. Pls contact us europe@joyingauto.com to get the Activation Code.

(Note: before upgrade, pls prepare a USB disk and a SD card which with the same firmware )

1). Pls download it from your windows computer and unzip it
2). Copy the unzipped files into High Quality empty USB disk FAT32 and empty 32GB C10 SD Card
3). Insert the USB disk into your car radio left side USB connector(the side without Wifi and GPS cable), then the unit will update automatically
4). When use the USB updating, the unit enter recovery page to upgrade, then it will show "Doing Actions Failed ! Pls Remove the USB Disk... "
5). Then Remove the USB disk(pls do not turn off the unit), and insert the SD card to unit GPS Map slot directly, and click the reset button, then the unit will upgrade automatically(Pls attention, The SD card should have the same firmware with the USB disk in)
6). When updating, pls do not operate it and just wait it until the screen remind you to move the USB
7). After you remove the USB drive, the unit will restart automatically. After it reboot you need calibrate the touch screen.

Important attention for your update :

1) you need to unzip the updated files on the Windows system firstly. and then copy them to the USB or SD card without any other folder . The USB or SD card need to be formatted as FAT32 .
and then insert USB or SD card into the head unit USB port or SD card slot, it will be updated automatically .

2) please do not unzip the files on the USB or SD card.

3) it is better to use the 32GB or less than 32gB USB or SD card .

55) Pre-installed Z-link app in OEM. If you want to use carplay or android auto in Intel SOFIA car radio, you need to purchase JOYING Z-BOX. Apple carplay for iPhone: install Zlink apk, then connect USB carplay dongle by iPhone original data cable to Android car radio. Connect WiFi,and CarPlay function can work. Android auto for Android phones: install android auto app from Google play store and install Zlink apk in OEM, then connect USB carplay dongle by android phone original data cable to Android car radio. Connect Bluetooth, and android auto function can work.

6) If your android car radio is BMW, W, Audi or Opel, you need to set canbus protocol again like the one as before update.

1) Please contact us for correct DVR app after update

2) 2) If your car android car stereo is universal model, please do not choose canbus protocal even if have bought third-party canbus adapter.

3) If your car stereo is special model, front and parking sensor can work well after this update.
