Joying has developed the Volkswagen/Skoda/Seat Special Car Radio, which comes with Canbus adapter, it is plug and play for most VW car models. And it will support OEM Car Steering Wheel Control, Radar/Parking Sensors, A/C Climate info display, Door Open info display, etc.

We have three screen size models and two kinds of configuration radio for your choice:

Joying 8" Single Din Head Unit install on BMW E90 2010

Nice day!

Today we want to share a special installation, it is an 8 inch Universal Single Din Car Radio install on BMW E90 2010.

First of all, pls appreciate the installation pictures:

From the pictures we can see that the screen is out of the car dashboard alone, because the screen is installed separately with the radio body.

Would you like to know how to install it?

Here are some details about the installation:

1). Made a LCD back side using 3D Plastic printer

2). Added 3 brackets: 1 I shape and 2 L shape

3). Put them together to make a complete LCD holder

Installing Joying JY-HOS01N4GS-1 in a Volvo S80 2.5 T MJ 2005

(The below all information are from Joying Customer)

First of all.
This is a very special installation.
I wanted to keep the original Volvo HU650 running and also wanted a big display.

In the first trial i installed the Volvo HU650 in the glovebox and in the center console the Joying 10.1 inch.

Then I discovered the Joying JY-HOS01PN4GS-1 and i decided to integrate both units in the center console.

First i had to prepare the original Volvo radio and phone compartment.

Then i had to modify the holder in that case that the cables of the Joying-unit have space sideways.

It looks like this when installed.

I had to modify some cables, including the power supply and the antenna cable.

Then I removed the tape deck and the disk player from the original Volvo Hu650.
This gave me space to integrate the Joying 1-DIN body.

It looks like that.

Than i had to think about the installation of the display screen.
I came to this solution.

After that I had to do a few more things.

For example a suitable place for the usb connection.

And a cover for the back.

And that is the result:

Universal harness usages on below special head unit

1)Reverse camera connecting way :
without canbus system :
No.2 (CCD 12V ) +No.3 (Camera In )

Noted : if your car have canbus system , you do not need to connect the No.2 (CCD 12V )

2)No.21 and No.14 USB is used for USB driver / DVR / TPMS/DAB+/USB 4G dongle
3)For the No.22 USB/CP plug , it is used for update system / Z-link function (Iphone carplay/ Android Auto )

4)Harness connecting way for steering wheel control

A.If the harness with canbus box , you need to connect following cable :
Can in +can out

B.If the harness without the canbus box , you can connect following cable :
Can out + key

After connecting above harness , you need to learn the steering wheel control .
Noted : if your harness with canbus box , you do not need to learn the steering wheel control .

5)How to connect the after-market amplifier :

Note: this update is only workable for Android 8.0 car radio with octa core CPU with 2GB RAM+32GB ROM . Please contact us if you are not clear your head unit system .
 otherwise the head unit will be damaged .

Today , We would like to share some good installation review on Chevy  . hope it can help those who want to install the head unit .

10.1 Inch Octa Core PX5 installed On 2016 Chevy Malibu LT w/o Bose System

Here is the Youtube video that I made. I own a 2016 Chevy Malibu LT w/o Bose System. You can check out other videos of my car on my page. I had to do some small modifications behind the radio, such as trimming off plastic and mounting the radio to my aftermarket radio kit. The wires matched up GREAT with no problem. Everything was labeled right making installation easy. This being my first time installing a radio, I say this was a 2 out of 5 of difficulty for me.

Note: They will have to drill screw holes in the brackets so the radio will fit. It will only fit WITHOUT the sleeve that comes attached to Android (single din).

Joying head unit connection diagram of power cord and AV cables

1) Key 1 and key 2 is for steering wheel control .
you need to connect the key 1 or key 2 or key 1 and key 2 with your original steering wheel control wire , GND (black wire ) should be connected as well .
2) "ILLUM" wire is for button light control wire .
you need to connect this "ILLUM " wire with your original car head light wire . Then button light works .
3) "back " wire offers power for your reverse camera .
4) "ACC" "BATT" "GND " wire is important on powering the head unit .
5)"ANT.CONT " wire offers power for your radio antenna .
6) brake wire no need to be connected . The function has been built-in the head unit .

Volkswagen Car Wire Connection Method

If your VW car have canbus system , please disconnect the ACC wire (red wire ) when you connect the canbus box . otherwise it will drain your car battery .
